Chipper Lowell

By the time Chipper was 16 years old, he had visited every state in the U.S. at least 4 times, and traveled to a variety of other countries including Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England and Ireland.    He was born into “show business” from Day One, thanks to his rather eclectic parents – His father, a professional circus clown with Ringling Bros. in the ‘50s & ‘60s, and his mother, a dancer & aerialist.   By age 19, Chipper started performing on his own, as a full-time comedian/magician and never looked back.

Chipper’s unique brand of comedy magic has thrilled audiences from coast to coast and around the world.  His appearances are a clever mix of rapid-fire adlibs and improvisation along with original and visual, jaw-dropping and hilarious hocus-pocus!

Chipper has appeared on the Tonight Show, the Disney Channel, General Hospital, Don’t Blink!, America’s Funniest People, Street Magic, and multiple appearances on all 11 seasons of the CW’s popular series, Masters Of Illusion.   His critically-acclaimed, solo show, has been touring theatres and performing arts centers throughout the U.S. and Canada for the past 20+ years.  And he is a regular headliner in the Walt Disney Theatre onboard Disney Cruise Lines.

He has been honored with “Comedy Magician of the Year” twice, and received the Senator Crandall Award for “Excellence in Comedy.”   He’s also been nominated 4 times over the last 10 years for “Stage Magician of the Year” by the Academy of Magical Arts (aka The Magic Castle), and MAGIC Magazine named him as one of the “Funniest Magicians Performing Today.”

When not “on the road”, Chipper resides in southern California, with his incredible wife, smart-as-a-whip son, and a mortgage.   (Not necessarily in that order.)
