Levent

Being a master of sleight of hand and side-spitting comedy Levent is unique in the world. A culmination of over 35 years of experience, he is a much sought-after entertainer, that has earned great respect from his peers.

Levent started out at a young age performing throughout his native New York City. At age 17 he was awarded 1st prize for Stage Magic at the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ National Convention for his sleight of hand act. This led to a 2-year engagement at a Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, where he was twice nominated “Best Act in a Production Show”.

Later Levent concentrated on becoming a comedy performer and soon headlined Comedy Clubs throughout the USA. Eventually he combined his world class sleight of hand skills and his zany personality and this fusion of amazing magic and hysterical comedy made him unique in the world.

Levent has since been performing to packed audiences at various casino and cruise ship venues and in theaters throughout the world in countries such as: Japan, Korea, England, France, Italy and Finland. Also he was one of a select few entertainers to be invited to perform at Apple Computer Company Headquarters.

He has appeared on national television shows in Japan, Korea and most recently he was a regular performer on the American television series “Masters of Illusion” on Fox’s MyNETWORK.

In addition to performing, he is a noted creator of magic tricks, a lecturer on the Art of Magic, an author on vaudeville history and the world’s number one expert on the history and sleight of hand techniques of the great magicians of the 19th and 20th Century. A biography of Levent appears in the recently published book “Vaudeville Old & New – An Encyclopedia of Variety Performers in America”.
